Rebecca opened Iridescence Salon & Spa in 2009 with a vision of creating more than just a salon. She wanted to build a welcoming space where guests feel genuinely cared for, leave feeling more confident than when they arrived, and experience exceptional service every step of the way.
Behind the chair, Rebecca specializes in customized color, expert gray coverage, precision haircuts, and modern styling techniques. She is passionate about continuing education and regularly attends advanced classes to stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and innovations in the beauty industry.
Whether you’re visiting for a subtle refresh or a complete transformation, Rebecca believes every appointment should be personalized to your lifestyle, goals, and unique sense of style.
BEYOND THE SALON
Compassion Beyond Beauty
Rebecca’s commitment to making a difference extends far beyond the salon. She founded Iridescence Cares, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of small animals through trap-neuter-return (TNR), rescue, adoption support, and community education. She proudly serves on the board alongside her husband and father, working together to create a lasting impact for animals throughout the community.
For more than 20 years, Rebecca has embraced a vegan lifestyle and built Iridescence around those same values, making it York’s only fully vegan salon and spa. She believes exceptional beauty services and compassionate choices go hand in hand.
When she’s not behind the chair or volunteering with Iridescence Cares, you’ll usually find her spending time with her four cats—Gordie, Gus, Evie, and Noelle—who keep life full of personality, laughter, and the occasional bit of mischief.
